FAMILY GAME NIGHT: I took this opportunity with my family to start up a game night. But before I go into detail DISCLAIMER: There was no real money involved. I repeat it was just for fun! I digress, so prior weeks before we watch Molly's Game which was a true story on a woman running high stakes poker game with the elite. Therefore I thought it would be fun to play poker, specifically Texas Holdem. (Fair warning my parents were not fully for this idea).

It was honestly a lot of fun! Besides the fact that she was also on her phone playing a game of MJ at the same time, so she was kinda just half there, but still fun mainly because I DESTROYED EVERYONE. I roasted Dad to taunt him so he would follow and bluffed a couple of times.

Then it was the last game Bri was all in and so was Mom. I was the dealer, Bri had two spades in her hand and needed one more to get a flush. Mom needed a jack to get straight. Bri had the highest probability of winning since one of the community cards was a 10 and Bri had a 10 of spades in her hand making it a pair. Mom had nothing, so the chances were slim. I burned one card and flipped the last one. It was the jack of diamonds. Everyone was yelling in shock. Mom grabbed her chips going "YES, YES, YES" Bri collapsed on the sofa dead. Ryan was wide-eyed in shock and Dad was chuckling. I was belly laughing as I point at Bri. It was these moments that bonded my family. It felt like a somewhat lazy day yet at the same time fulfilling, unlike the normal guilt I feel when I realize that most of my day was spent watching videos on Youtube.
