Morning:
Non-existent/slept through it
Afternoon:
I wake up and naturally reach for my phone, then realize wAiT a mInUtE, I can't use my phone or computer. Instead, I lay there wondering what the HECKLE I'm going to do without my easy source of entertainment. I normally open my phone and watch the news. Honesty it's probably not the best way to start a day. It makes me sad to constantly be informed, since you are aware of all the horrors that are going on in the world. But that relates to the age old question whether it is better to be happy or to know the truth. Another way to phrase this is to be informed or oblivious. My thoughts on this is that I think that it is important to have a broad sense on what is going on but also you should know more information on the world around you the older you get. As a kid I recall that the news actually scared me. I know, I know wEirD. Although just think about it, your a kid and you click the power button on your remote, then hear a man in a suit say that there is a murderer running lose, a school got shot up, and many more bad events. Sure it may true but why corrupt the world for kids or even teenagers before they enter it?

ANYways I grabbed the book I've been reading called WildCard, it's the second/last book in the series Warcross by Marie Lu. This is a link is like the inside cover of the book in which it explains the book but not spoil it. There's a specific word for that but I can't figure it out right now and it is high key bugging me. So if this is still typed this way this means I never figured it out. Also I do not know why the link is grey? https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/41014903-warcross
But I was reading for 3+ hours straight, yes you heard that right I was just reading page after page and then I realize I hadn't moved for a couple of hours when my fingers got kinda numb. Who would have thunk?! I think a good chunk of high schoolers have forgotten how enjoyable it is to read a book that interests you. Mhm maybe it is due to teens having a negative connotation of reading since in school we are forced to read books that we lack a desire to read. But reading just allows you to interpret almost everything instead of just absorbing everything being laid out cleanly in front of you like a movie or tv show.

Although I was interrupted by Bri (my sister). She asked me if I want to go with her and Ryan (Bri's Boyfriend) to ADD NAME OF THE FARM THAT I CAN'T REMEMBER; they sell the best pastries and sandwiches. I quickly got changed since I mean if it means that I get to leave the house of course I'm gonna go. :)

So I hoped in the car with my book and a literal ball attached by string to a plank of wood with a hole in it; the goal is to just get the ball continuously through the hole. You would think that I lived in the medieval era with my ball and stick. Jk jk it's actually quite relaxing. There's multiple shelves of pastries, jams, candy, and ect. We get there and indecision makes a trip that should've been 10 minutes to 30 minutes and it takes 7 minutes for them to make Bri's and I sandwich. If this sounds boring it's because it was.
But who decided we have the entitlement to feel entertained 24/7. In a way, it feels like people have become stubborn princes/princesses and our phones are is a jester we yell at to entertain us. Till we become so encompassed by this lifestyle that we lose touch with reality. I mean sure, time definitely goes faster while on my phone, but that makes us forget the value of time. Since we forget how limited it is so I feel that these moment should not be replaced with fast entertainment. Hopefully instead it can be changed to be a time where we can reflect or spark random conversation. So Bri and I looked at the jams as we swayed back and forth. Bought our sandwiches, (Ryan already finished his) then drove home.
