Afternoon pt 2:

After stuffing our stomachs to the brim with food, Bri, Mom, and I decided to go for a walk. I strapped Teddy into her blue harness which is always a tussle. Once the door was slightly creaked opened Teddy yanked my arm forward as my legs caught up.

Normally I listen to music as I walk since I don’t like the sound of silence and it distracted my brain from overthinking. Although it wasn’t quite, it was peaceful. I heard the sound of birds chirping as if they were talking to one another along with cars rushing past holding passengers of one.

It made me think about how far has humanity strayed from its path. I mean at the start we were considered animals, didn’t have much except for our intelligence. But have we gotten to the point of being too smart for our own good? I mean look we created this cyclical lifestyle of where we surround ourselves with a constant amount of work and being connected 24/7. This is considered normal but is healthy?

Then Bri twisted her ankle since she tripped on a rock looking down at her phone while playing Pokemon Go. So to make sure there were no further injuries we walked home.

Once we arrived home I grabbed some CDs and went upstairs to my room and started organizing clothing. I played some old albums such as Out Of The Blue by ELO (Electric Light Orchestra), Ella Fitzerald And Louis Armstrong by well I mean their name is the album, and Teenage Dream by Katy Perry. It was nice to get lost in the music with no ads but it was a little odd being able to pull up any song I like.
